A Recap of the Randy Jones Foundations Accomplishments 2018-present

1. RJF has provided youth sports scholarships for our military families, youth travel ball is at an all-time high, our scholarships are designed to provide the financial assistance to help just a few kids reach their full potential.
   2018: 3 Youth Athletic Scholarships totaling $15,000
   2019: 10 Youth Athletic Scholarships totaling $55,000
   2020: 12 Youth Athletic Scholarships totaling $42,000
   2021: 12 Youth Athletic Scholarships totaling $42,000
   2022: 12 Youth Athletic Scholarships totaling $38,000                                                                                                                                                            2023: 9 Youth Athletic Scholarships totaling $27,000
2. 600+ Kids and Parents Given an Exclusive VIP Padre Experience with Randy Jones
   700+ (Parents & Kids) have been given an exclusive VIP Padre experience with Randy Jones. Each of these VIP experiences would cost in excess of $300 per, ($210,000 total through 2023). Randy walks them through the club house directly down onto the field, players & coaches make themselves available for pictures and autographs during the Padre batting practice, at the conclusion of batting practice it’s time for dinner at Randy’s famous BBQ, best of all Randy joins them for one-on-one conversations where Randy shares some of his favorite stories growing up and his magical 1976 Cy Young Year.  Now it time for the ballgame where everyone is treated to field level seats to watch a Padre Game.
3. 325 Kids and Parents Treated to Deep Sea Fishing Trips
   375 (Parents & Kids) have been treated to a Deep-Sea Fishing trip with Randy Jones. The chartered boat takes off from Pt Loma & heads out to sea for ½ day of fun.  All the tackle, poles, bait, one-on-one instructions, lunch & beverages are provided.  Randy also engages in one-on-one conversations sharing his more favorite stories. 
4. Education Workshops & Other Events
   Other programs include educational workshops with Sony Interactive, teaching kids about the world of computers & gaming.
5. Partnership with NCSA 
   In 2019 the Foundation teamed up with NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) to provide no cost programs for our kids, online portals and one-on-one tutoring for kids 13 and older to prepare to become a college athlete.  This program can cost as much as $5,000 per child. We have opened this up to 50+ kids at no cost to the families.  
6. Camps
   Randy has provided baseball and golf camps for 200+ inner city and military kids, providing each of them with individual instruction, teaching them fundamentals, advanced skills and, most importantly, sportsmanship and hard work is essential for success.  (Leaning how to fail and how to then pick yourself up is one of Randy's favorite teaching lessons.)
7. American Legion Baseball
   RJF is proud to support the resurgence of American Legion Baseball here in San Diego, spearheaded by Rolf Ohnstad, providing hundreds of kids with an organized summer program, the oldest active youth baseball organizations in the nation.
8. Randy's Support
   Randy continues to support the Padres, our community, and all San Diego charities. Randy has made countless appearances, supporting the Padres, our military and other charitable organizations throughout all of San Diego County, all in an effort to raise more awareness and dollars for charitable organizations.
