Mason started playing baseball at age 5 years old when he joined Poway American Little League. He credits his recent playing at San Diego Crush Baseball with keeping him motivated to continue with the sport.
Playing baseball is something Mason plans to continue through high school and college. He aspires to have a career in the sport, perhaps even off the field. At school, Mason enjoys a variety of classes, his favorite subjects being band and science. Musically inclined, he has played percussion in both jazz band and orchestra.
Jennifer Antoine, Mason’s mother, nominated him and is proud to have served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She realizes how vital it is for her children to develop strong study habits and maintain good grades. The Randy Jones Foundation Scholarship makes a big difference for the family, allowing both children to continue in competitive sports.
