Sienna started swimming at a young age and fell in love with the sport. It was in middle school that she decided to join Track and Field with the hopes that it could help improve her swimming. From that point on, she has put in the hours of hard work on and off the field to push herself athletically as well as academically.
This summer, Sienna plans to participate in the Nike Track and Field Camp at Stanford University where she will get the opportunity to experience firsthand the life of a Stanford student-athlete and train with Stanford coaches and staff.
Sienna was nominated for the Randy Jones Foundation Scholarship by her parents, Tawanna Blanche & Terence Blanche who understand the challenges and the toll of having two family members in the Military can have.
Her determination to put in hours of hard work on and off the field was one of many things that set Sienna apart for this scholarship.

Getting the scholarship motivates me to want to try and work harder knowing that I have the Randy Jones Foundation backing me in all the athletic things that I do, it also motivates me to stay on top of my grades so with that I can have good athletics and good academics. Also I would like to make the Randy Jones Foundation proud. (Sienna Blanche)
