​20 parents and children will be attending the Padres verse the Washington Nationals on August 17th.

The children in attendance will be between the ages of 7 and 15, accompanied by a USMC parent who just recently returned from active duty overseas.

Before enjoying the game, during batting practice these 20 people will get a VIP experience on the field.

Parking passes are provided for the families and drinks are included from Social Tap or RJ BBQ.

​25 children ages 8 to 15 enjoyed a complimentary deep sea fishing trip!

Each child was accompanied by a USMC parent who has recently returned from active duty overseas.

Randy Jones, CY Young award winning Pitcher for the San Diego Padres was onboard to share his passion and love for Marine families.

Guests arrived by 11:30am at Seaforth Landing located at 1717 Quivira Road, San Diego.

Lunch and tackle were included, fishing licenses were required for anyone 16 years of age or older.
Carrie Wilson, a Marine Biologist with the California Dept of Fish & Wildlife will be joining us to teach the children about the different species of the fish that will be caught.

In addition to the crew, a few seasoned fisherman will be coming to help the kids catch fish!

 All legal size fish caught will be cleaned by the crew and fillets will be packaged ready to take home for a Fish Fry
